Chacun en alternance relate sa propre histoire, entre p\u00e9rip\u00e9ties r\u00e9elles et invent\u00e9es. De nombreux personnages, v\u00e9ridiques ou fictifs (Abdel Karim Al Maghili, Ephra\u00efm Al n\u2019Kaoua, Thamira La Mangeuse d\u2019hommes, Daoud l\u2019homosexuel, etc.), traversent la grande Histoire \u00e0 des \u00e9poques diff\u00e9rentes, arpentant l\u2019Andalousie \u0153cum\u00e9nique, la ville de Tlemcen ou la r\u00e9gion du Touat. Les rep\u00e8res se brouillent, les histoires s\u2019embo\u00eetent et se confondent, le lecteur se perd dans leurs m\u00e9andres ne sachant plus d\u00e9m\u00ealer le vrai du faux.
